RECTIFICATION OF REPORT IN BUSINESS DAY
In the “Companies & Markets” section of today’s edition of Business Day, there is a report by Mark Allix
with the following heading:
“Wearne lifts revenue and market share
Loss of R166m raises questions of it continuing as a going concern”
The second sentence of the heading is wrong. In the report, the correspondent refers to the loss recently
announced by Esor Limited of R166 million. He erroneously mixed up the two companies in the headline of
his report.
Wearne yesterday announced a comprehensive profit of R13.4 million and a headline loss of R16.6 million
for the year to February 2014.
