In accordance with section 122(3)(b) of the Companies Act and section 3.83(b)
of the JSE Listings Requirements, shareholders are advised that the total holding
of Genesis Asset Managers, LLP has been reduced to 4.94% as a result of Pick n
Pay Stores Limited issuing an additional 6 925 000 shares from authorised but
previously unissued share capital.
Formal notification has been received from Genesis Asset Managers, LLP and
Pick n Pay Stores Limited has filed the required notice with the Takeover
Regulation Panel.
