THE WATERBERG COAL PROJECT – PRODUCTION TARGET Clarification
The Waterberg Coal Company Ltd (Company) refers to the recent announcement of 4th July 2014
“Appointment of EPC Contractor for the Waterberg Coal Project”. That announcement erroneously
made reference to a “DFS” (Definitive Feasibility Study) instead of a “BFS” (Bankable Feasibility
Study).
For clarification purposes the Company wishes to refer to its ASX release of 24 October 2013
“Substantial JORC Resource Expansion Highlights World Class Coal Project” where the Bankable
Feasibility Study was referred to and also to ASX release of 24 February 2014 “Feasibility Study
Delivered to Eskom and Final Burn Test Nearing Completion” which provided supportive detail in
terms of Listing Rule 5. The Company wishes to confirm that all material assumptions as stated in the
aforesaid announcements continue to apply and have not materially changed.
