DIVIDEND DISTRIBUTION ANNOUNCEMENT IN RELATION TO THE AGL SHARE INSTALMENT
Notice is hereby given of the dividend amount payable for ANGLO AMERICAN PLC and that as a
result of the dividend declaration relating to ANGLO AMERICAN PLC (AGL) the Trustees of the Share
Instalment Trust have declared a dividend amount of 336.6048 cents per AGLNIJ share instalment
that is payable on Thursday, 18 September 2014. The dividend is subject to a local tax of 15 per cent.
No STC credits were utilized. This results in a net dividend of 286.11408 cents per share instalment.
The final payment will be rounded to two decimal places.
The last day to trade cum-dividend is Friday, 01 August 2014. The Share Instalment will commence
trading ex-dividend from Monday, 04 August 2014. The record date will be Friday, 08 August 2014.
The dividend will be distributed by Anglo South Africa Capital (Pty) with an income tax number of
9273/364/845.
