In compliance with Section 3.59 of the JSE Limited Listings Requirements, shareholders are
advised that non-executive director Mr Rick Hogben, will be retiring from the Board of
directors of Aveng, following his decision to withdraw from all of his corporate commitments
due to health reasons, with effect from Wednesday, 20 August 2014.
Mr Hogben joined the Aveng board in 2007 and during his seven year tenure he served on
the Audit, Safety, Health and Environmental, and Remuneration and Nomination Committees.
Rick has made a significant and invaluable contribution to the company and the Chairman
and the Board wish to thank him for his dedication and contribution to the Group and wish him
well for the future.
