CHANGE IN DENOMINATION OF FRK01 NOTES
FirstRand Bank Limited wishes to advise noteholders that JSE system
constraints in the price field in the JSE legacy system have
necessitated an amendment to the denomination of the FRK01 notes
from 10 one ounce KrugerRand coins to 1 one ounce KrugerRand coin.
The value of each noteholders’ current holding remains unchanged
however each note will now evidence 1 one ounce KrugerRand coin
(not 10 one ounce KrugerRand coins) and the resultant number of
notes held by noteholders will be increased accordingly.
The above will be done by way of sub-division.
Last day to trade will be Wednesday 13 August 2014. Trades in the
sub-divided units under the new ISIN ZAE000193959 will be permitted
from Thursday, 14 August 2014. Record date will be Wednesday, 20
August 2014.
