APPOINTMENT OF MEMBER TO THE SOCIAL AND ETHICS COMMITTEE
In compliance with rule 3.59 of the Listing Requirements the
following is advised:
Mrs. Takalani Patricia Maumela, an independent non-executive
director of Astral Foods, has been appointed as a member of the
Social and Ethics Committee of Astral Foods with effect from 13
August 2014.
Mrs. Maumela is currently general manager of GEMS where she
assumes overall responsibility for 860 employees in this
business unit within the Metropolitan Health Group. Apart
from holding a nursing degree, she also holds a Masters of
Business Leadership qualification from the University of South
Africa.
