DIVIDEND DISTRIBUTION ANNOUNCEMENT IN RELATION TO THE BIL SHARE INSTALMENT
Notice is hereby given of the dividend amount payable for BHP BILLITON PLC and that as a result of
the dividend declaration relating to BHP BILLITON PLC (BIL) the Trustees of the Share Instalment
Trust have declared a dividend amount of 658.44837 cents per BILNIK share instalment that is
payable on Tuesday, 23 September 2014. The dividend is subject to a local tax of 15 per cent. No STC
credits were utilized. This results in a net dividend of 559.681115 cents per share instalment. The
final payment will be rounded to two decimal places.
The last day to trade cum-dividend is Friday, 29 August 2014. The Share Instalment will commence
trading ex-dividend from Monday, 01 September 2014. The record date will be Friday, 05 September
2014.
BHP BILLITON PLC's income tax number is 9325/110/71/7.
