In accordance with paragraph 3.59 (a) and (b) of the JSE Listings Requirements, shareholders
are advised that Ms Yolanda Cuba, an independent non-executive director, will be joining
Vodacom as an executive in the role of Chief Officer: Strategy & Business Development with
effect from 1 November 2014 and become a member of the Vodacom Group Executive
Committee. As a result of this change, Yolanda’s status on the Board reverts to that of a non-
executive director with immediate effect. She will step down from the Board with effect from 31
October 2014.
