TRADING STATEMENT
In terms of paragraph 3.4(b) of the Johannesburg Stock Exchange (“JSE”) Listings
Requirements, a listed company is required to publish a trading statement as soon
as it is satisfied that a reasonable degree of certainty exists that the financial results
for the period to be reported upon next will differ, by at least 20%, from those of the
previous corresponding period.
Shareholders are advised that the earnings per share for the period ended 30 June
2014 is expected to move from an earnings position to a loss position and
accordingly the loss per share from all operations for the period ended 30 June 2014
is expected to be between (0.54) and (0.66) cents per share compared to 0.04 cents
per share in the prior period.
Headline earnings is also expected to move from an earnings position to a loss
position, and accordingly the headline earnings per share is expected to be between
(0.54) and (0.66) cents per share compared to 0.26 cents in the prior comparative
period
This trading statement has not been reviewed or reported on by the Company’s
external auditors.
