APPOINTMENT TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
In compliance with rule 3.59(a) of the Listings Requirements
of the JSE Limited, shareholders of the Company are hereby
advised that Mr Christopher Michael Bull (“Mr Chris Bull”) has
been appointed as an independent non-executive director of the
Company and as chairman of the board of directors, with
immediate effect.
Mr. Chris Bull is a qualified attorney with more than 20
years’ experience in Intellectual Property and Patent law. He
leads the Patent Group at ENSafrica and is a leading
practitioner in the fields of patents, commercial
transactions, intellectual property management and strategic
advice both in South Africa and internationally.
The Afdawn board welcomes the appointment of Mr Chris Bull and
looks forward to his contribution and leadership.
Accordingly, Mr Jacques Groenewald will only fulfill the role
of Chief Executive Officer of Afdawn.
