CHANGES TO THE BOARD – NEW APPOINTMENT
In terms of paragraph 3.59 of the Listings Requirements of the JSE Limited, the Dawn board
of directors is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Gerhard Kotzee as an executive
director of DAWN with effect from 6 November 2014.
Mr Kotzee has a B.Eng (Met) from UP, as well as an MBL from Unisa. He has 30 years
executive experience with various manufacturing companies in the steel-, non-ferrous- and
stainless steel industries. Mr Kotzee currently serves on the boards of various Dawn
subsidiary companies, Dawn investment companies (including Grohe Dawn Watertech), as
well as the Southern African Plastic Pipe Manufacturing Association. He has previously
chaired the Southern African Stainless Steel Development Association.
