Amendments to the JSE Listings Requirements
The JSE has made amendments to Section 19 (Specialist Securities) of the JSE Listings
Requirements (the “Requirements”).
The amendments to the Requirements include amendments to the Definitions Section, Section 1 and
Section 19 relating to warrants, exchange traded funds, asset-backed securities and sponsored
depository receipts. New requirements have also been introduced in Section 19 for exchange traded
notes, structured products and unsponsored depository receipts.
Pursuant to Board Notice 147 of 2014 as published in the Government Gazette No.38284, the
effective date of the amendments to the Requirements will be 9 January 2015.
