Tharisa Mine achieves record PGM production in January 2015
The Tharisa Mine produced a record 10 593 5E + Au contained PGM ounces during January 2015.
Since the commencement of Tharisa’s initial mining operations in 2008, it has now mined and
processed a total of over 10 million tonnes of reef with a further 22 years of open pit life remaining.
This is an important milestone for Tharisa. Month on month production has shown a strong positive
upward trend over the last year, particularly following changes implemented during the latter half of
2014. January’s record production is another step towards reaching annualised steady state levels by
Q1 FY2016.
