Ms Philisiwe Mthethwa has resigned as an independent non-executive director from the
Boards of Sanlam Limited & Sanlam Life Insurance Limited with effect from 13 February
2015. Sanlam chairman, Desmond Smith, thanked Philisiwe for the contribution she
