Pursuant to DTR 5.6.1 R (1), Lonmin Plc (“the Company”) hereby notifies the market that the
Company’s issued share capital as at 28 February 2015 consisted of 583,947,987 Ordinary Shares of
$1, each with voting rights and 50,000 Deferred Shares of £1, each with no voting rights.
Therefore, the total number of voting rights in the Company was 583,947,987. This figure should be
used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they can determine if they
are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company under the
Financial Conduct Authority’s Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
