Anglo American plc announces that Dr Byron Grote, a Non-Executive Director of the
Company, has been appointed to the board of Tesco PLC as an independent Non-Executive
Director from 1 May 2015.
It was announced yesterday that Dr Grote would not be seeking re-election to the boards of
Unilever NV and Unilever plc and would therefore retire as a director of those companies at
the conclusion of their AGMs to be held on 29 and 30 April 2015.
This notification satisfies the Company's obligations under the Financial Conduct Authority
Listing Rule 9.6.14.
