In terms of section 2.6(a) of the JSE Debt Listings Requirements, please be advised that SANRAL has
appointed RMB, a division of FirstRand Limited, as a new Debt Sponsor and has effectively terminated the
services of Absa Corporate and Investment Bank, a division of Absa Bank Limited (“referred to as Absa
CIB”). The termination of and appointment is as a result of a tender process undertaken by SANRAL, in
terms of it’s Supply Chain Management policies and has been approved by it’s Board. The termination and
appointment are effective from 11 February 2015.
The outgoing Debt Sponsor, Absa CIB will still maintain some of it’s functions of co-arranging upcoming
auctions held by SANRAL, alongside RMB and Nedbank Capital, a division of Nedbank Limited.
SANRAL looks forward to a pleasant partnership with the aforementioned banks.
