DECLARED INTERIM DIVIDEND ANNOUNCEMENT ON EXXARO RESOURCES LIMITED HOT ENHANCED DIVIDEND
SECURITIES – (“EXXIHD”)
With reference to the dividend announcement, the Directors of Exxaro Resources Limited have declared a final
dividend of 210 cents per ordinary share payable on Monday, 20 April 2015 , to ordinary shareholders and
recorded in the books of the company at the close of business on Friday, 17 April 2015.
In terms of the new Dividend Tax effective 1 April 2012, the following additional information is disclosed:
1) local dividend tax rate is 15%;
2) No STC credits;
3) net local dividend amount is 178.5cents per share for shareholders liable to pay the new Dividends Tax and
210 cents per share for shareholders exempt from paying the new Dividends Tax; and
4) the issued share capital of Exxaro Resources Limited is 358115505 ordinary shares; and
5) Exxaro Resources Limited tax reference number is 9218/098/14/4; and
6) Investec Bank Limited tax reference number is 9675/053/71/5.
Accordingly, the holders of EXXIHD will receive a Exxaro Resources Limited dividend amount per security on
Monday, 20 April 2015, in terms of the Cession clause incorporated in the Supplement between the holders and
Investec Bank Limited. The last day to trade (“cum” the dividend) in order to participate in the dividend will be10
April 2015.
EXXIHDHot Enhanced Dividend Securities will commence trading “ex” the dividend from the commencement of
business on13 April 2015, and the record date will be Friday, 17 April 2015.
