DEALINGS IN SECURITIES BY DIRECTORS AND THEIR ASSOCIATES
In compliance with paragraph 3.63 to 3.66 of the JSE Listings Requirements, shareholders are hereby
notified that Ecsponent ordinary shares were acquired by certain directors of Ecsponent and their
associates following the implementation of a scheme of arrangement (“the Scheme”) by Ecsponent
Capital (RF) (“Ecsponent Capital”).
In terms of the Scheme, Ecsponent Capital repurchased Ecsponent Capital shares owned by certain
Ecsponent Capital shareholders in exchange for Ecsponent shares (“the Exchange”).
Certain directors and their associates were affected by the Exchange due to their shareholding in
Ecsponent Capital. Details are set out below.
