APPOINTMENT TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
In compliance with paragraph 3.59 of the Listings Requirements of JSE Limited, the board of directors of
Sentula (“the Board”) hereby notifies its shareholders that Mr Jacques Badenhorst has been appointed as a
non-executive director with effect from 8 May 2015.
Jacques, who holds a Bachelor of Accounting Science (Honours) degree as well as a Post Graduate
Certificate in the Theory of Accounting (CTA) from UNISA, is a qualified Chartered Accountant. He is
currently a director of various entities where he provides advice to key clients on corporate finance, mergers
and acquisitions, financial advisory and debt capital markets. Jacques has also served as an independent
non-executive director of Dorbyl Limited and was previously a Group Executive of Strategy and Planning at
Absa Group Limited, where he provided comprehensive advice to assist in successfully shaping the strategic
direction of the Absa Group.
The Board welcomes Jacques and looks forward to his contributions to the Company.
