NOTIFICATION IN TERMS OF SECTION 122(3)(b) OF THE COMPANIES
ACT (ACT 71 OF 2008) AND PARAGRAPH 3.83(b) OF THE JSE
LIMITED LISTINGS REQUIREMENTS - REDUCTION IN INTEREST
Shareholders are referred to the announcement published on
Tuesday, 12 May 2015 that the PIC has disposed of
5.2 million shares held in Capitec through the Isibaya
Fund.
The Company has received formal notification in the
prescribed form from the PIC, representing the Government
Employee Pension Fund, that it has reduced its interest in
the ordinary share capital of Capitec to 7.9%.
The Company has notified the Takeover Regulation Panel of
the above in accordance with its obligations under section
122 of the Companies Act.
