Revised Trading Statement
In terms of the Listings Requirements of the JSE Limited ("JSE"), companies are required to
publish a trading statement as soon as they are satisfied that a reasonable degree of certainty
exists that the financial results for the period to be reported on will differ by 20% or more from the
financial results for the previous corresponding period.
Shareholders are referred to the SENS announcement on 17 March 2015. Management has
indicated with a reasonable degree of certainty that:
- Earnings per share is expected to be between 3.70 cents and 4.30 cents compared to the
previous corresponding period which reported a loss of 3.85 cents per share. This equates
to an improvement of between 196% and 211% when compared to the previous reporting
period.
- Headline earnings per share is expected to between 4.00 cents and 4.80 cents compared
to a headline loss of 3.58 cents per share for the previous reporting period . This equates
to an improvement of between 212% and 234% when compared to the previous reporting
period.
The financial information on which this trading statement is based has not been reviewed or
reported on by Ansys’ auditors. The Company’s financial results for the period ended 28 February
2015 are expected to be released at the end of May 2015.
