CHANGES TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
In compliance with the JSE Limited Listings Requirements,
shareholders are advised that, the board is pleased to announce
the appointment of Mr JL Serfontein as Chief Executive Officer of
the Group with effect from today, 24 July 2015. Jannie served as
Chief Financial Officer (“CFO”) of the Group for the past four
years. The board entered into an urgent process to appoint a
suitable CFO, but in the interim he will continue to fill both
positions.
Chairman Peter Mageza commented:
“Jannie and a strong Executive team continue to lead the
turnaround coming off the back of a positive set of interim
results. The board is confident about the future prospects of the
diversified Group and supports current management to keep this
momentum”.
Eqstra will publish its results for the year ended 30 June 2015 on
1 September 2015.
