(‘Firm Intention Announcement”) and are accordingly notified that Ernst & Young Advisory Services (Pty)
Limited has been appointed by the Iliad Independent Board for the purposes of providing a Fair and
Reasonable opinion in terms of section 114(2) of the Companies Act (no.71 of 2008) in respect of the
terms as previously announced relating to the proposed scheme of arrangement (‘the Scheme”).
