NOTIFICATION IN TERMS OF SECTION 122 OF THE COMPANIES ACT, No 71 of 2008, AS
AMENDED (“the Act”)
Shareholders are referred to recent media statements in relation to the disposal by the South African
Government of its 13.91% interest in the company to the Public Investment Corporation (“PIC”), acting on
behalf of the Government Employees Pension Fund (GEPF).
Pursuant to the above disposal, in accordance with Section 122 (3)(b) of the Act and Section 3.83(b) of
the Listings Requirements of the JSE Limited, shareholders are advised that the company has received
formal notification from the PIC who has so far acquired an additional interest of 7.049% in the ordinary
shares of the company thereby increasing the total interest held by the PIC to 8.574%.
As required in terms of section 122 the required notice has been filed with the Takeover Regulation
Panel.
