SALE OF INTEREST IN CGIC
Santam Limited (“Santam”) and Mutual & Federal Insurance Company Limited (“M&F”) have
reached agreement in terms of which Santam will sell its current 33.6% equity interest in Credit
Guarantee Insurance Corporation of Africa Limited for an amount of circa R600 million to M&F
(“the Transaction”). The Transaction is still subject to regulatory approval.
