TRADING STATEMENT
In terms of the Listing Requirements of the JSE Limited, companies are required to publish a trading statement as soon
as they are satisfied that a reasonable degree of certainty exists that the financial results for the current reporting
period will differ by at least 20% from the financial results for the previous corresponding period.
Accordingly, shareholders are advised that:
1. the earnings per share for the year ended 30 June 2015 will be 103.8 cents per share, being 270% higher than the
loss of 60.9 cents per share for the year ended 30 June 2014; and
2. the headline earnings per share for the year ended 30 June 2015 will be 90.3 cents per share, being 270% higher
than the headline loss of 53.0 cents per share for the year ended 30 June 2014.
The financial results on which this trading statement is based have not been reviewed or reported on by AOE’s
auditors. The reviewed condensed consolidated preliminary financial results for AOE for the year ended 30 June 2015
will be released on SENS on 7 September 2015.
