SECTION 122 NOTIFICATIONS: DISPOSAL OF SECURITIES
In accordance with section 122(3)(b) of the South African Companies Act, No. 71 of 2008 as
amended, and section 3.83(b) of the JSE Limited Listings Requirements, shareholders are
hereby advised that Steinhoff has received formal notification in the prescribed form, from
Brait Mauritius Limited (“Brait”) that it has disposed of its interests in the ordinary share capital
of Steinhoff, such that the total interest in Steinhoff, held by Brait now amounts to zero
(previously 5.14%). Steinhoff facilitated the acquisition of 150 million shares and these shares
will be accounted for as treasury shares.
