APPOINTMENT OF NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
The Board of Directors of Beige is pleased to announce the appointment of
Mr Jacob van Wyk (“Basie”) as a non-executive director of Beige with immediate
effect.
Basie qualified as a CA(SA) in 1989 and has held senior managerial positions
within the flexible packaging, waste management and FMCG industries. Basie
spent the past 10 years as part of the Heinz Foods SA (Pty) Ltd management
team, where he held various positions, initially as financial director, then as
Executive Manager for the Ambient division, Executive Manager, Supply Chain
and Managing Director. He is currently the Group CEO of The Lion Match
Company (Pty) Ltd.
