In compliance with section 122(3)(b) of the Companies Act 71 of 2008 (“the Companies Act”) and Regulation
121(2)(b) of the Companies Act Regulations, 2011, shareholders are advised that Synergy has received
notification from Old Mutual Investment Group Proprietary Limited (“Old Mutual”) of the disposal by Old
Mutual of Synergy A ordinary shares, such that Old Mutual now holds 7.38% (from 12.38%) of Synergy’s
issued A ordinary shares.
