VOLUNTARY ANNOUNCEMENT: COMPLETION OF ACQUISITION OF ADDITIONAL
INTEREST IN ICELAND FOODS
Shareholders are referred to the announcement released on the
website of the Luxembourg Stock Exchange and on the Stock
Exchange News Service of the JSE Limited on 2 October 2015
regarding Brait’s proposed acquisition of a further 38% of
Iceland Foods for GBP172.9 million (“Acquisition”).
The Board of directors of Brait is pleased to confirm the
completion of the Acquisition, which increases Brait’s stake in
Iceland Foods to 57%. The founder and management team of Iceland
Foods retain 43%.
