With the deregistration of Fitch Ratings it has become necessary to arrange a credit rating by an
approved ECAI.
In compliance with the JSE Debt Listing Requirements and to the benefit of note holders, Sappi
Southern Africa Limited has engaged Global Credit Ratings (GCR), an approved ECAI, to provide
a rating in compliance with the Credit Ratings Services Act.
