S&P places Anglo American plc (‘AA plc’) ratings on Creditwatch
Negative.
In accordance with paragraph 4.26 of the JSE Debt Listings
Requirements, noteholders are advised that S&P has placed its
BBB-/A-3 long and short-term corporate credit ratings and its
zaAA/zaA-1 long and short term South African national scale
ratings of AA plc on Creditwatch with negative implications. S&P
also placed on CreditWatch negative the long-term issue ratings
on the debt instruments issued or guaranteed by AA plc. AA plc
is the Guarantor under Anglo American SA Finance Ltd’s R20bn
DMTN Programme.
