FURTHER ANNOUNCEMENT REGARDING VOLUNTARY BUSINESS RESCUE
Shareholders of Masonite are referred to the announcement released on SENS on 22 December 2015
regarding the commencement of voluntary business rescue proceedings and the suspension of the
Company’s securities on the JSE Limited.
In regard to the above, Masonite has now received confirmation from the Companies and Intellectual
Property Commission (“CIPC”) to proceed with voluntary business rescue. The date of commencement of
business rescue is confirmed as 22 December 2015. On 23 December 2015 CIPC confirmed the appointment
of Pierre de Villiers Berrange of Berrange Incorporated as the senior business rescue practitioner.
