RESULTS OF PRIVATE PLACEMENT AND THE LISTING OF NEWPARK ON THE ALTERNATIVE EXCHANGE (“ALTX”) OF THE JSE
Investors are referred to Newpark’s pre-listing statement issued on Tuesday, 26 January 2016 and the abridged pre-
listing statement released on SENS on the same date, detailing the offer by way of a private placement of Newpark
ordinary shares (“private placement shares”) to invited investors and the subsequent listing of all the issued shares
of the company in the “Diversified REIT’s” sector on the AltX of the JSE (“the private placement”).
The private placement was fully subscribed and Newpark has successfully raised an aggregate amount of R62.5 million,
by placing 10 million of its shares with invited investors at an issue price of R6.25 per private placement share.
Successful applicants will be notified of their allocations from Wednesday, 27 January 2016. The allocated shares will
be credited to successful applicants on a ‘delivery-versus-payment’ basis on the date of listing being
Wednesday, 3 February 2016.
An application has been made to the JSE for the listing of 100 000 001 ordinary shares in the “Diversified REITs”
sector of the AltX of the JSE with effect from the commencement of trade on the JSE on Wednesday 3 February 2016.
Shares will trade under the abbreviated name: “Newpark”, JSE share code: NRL and ISIN: ZAE000212783.
