DIVIDEND DISTRIBUTION ANNOUNCEMENT IN RELATION TO THE BIL SHARE INSTALMENT
Notice is hereby given of the dividend amount payable for BHP BILLITON PLC and that as a result of
the dividend declaration relating to BHP BILLITON PLC (BIL) the Trustees of the Share Instalment
Trust have declared a dividend amount of 250.4192 cents per BILNIL share instalment that is payable
on Thursday 31st March 2016. The dividend is subject to a local tax of 15 per cent. This results in a
net dividend of 212.85632 cents per share instalment. The final payment will be rounded to two
decimal places.
The last day to trade cum-dividend is Friday, 04 March 2016. The Share Instalment will commence
trading ex-dividend from Monday, 07 March 2016. The record date will be Friday, 11 March 2016.
