Erin Energy is unable to file its Annual Report on Form 10-K for the year ended December
31, 2015 within the prescribed time period because the Company requires additional time to
prepare and review certain information in its financial statements. The delay could not be
eliminated without unreasonable effort or expense. In accordance with Rule 12b-25 under
the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, the Company anticipates filing its Annual Report no
later than fifteen calendar days following the prescribed due date..
