NOTICE OF DISPOSAL AND ACQUISITION OF A BENEFICIAL INTEREST IN SECURITIES
In accordance with Section 122 of the Companies Act, No 71 of 2008, as amended, and paragraph
3.83(b) of the JSE Limited Listings Requirements, shareholders are hereby advised that Trans Hex
has received formal notification that Northam Platinum Limited has disposed of all of its shares in
Trans Hex and as a result does not hold any beneficial interest in the securities of the Company.
Shareholders are further advised that Trans Hex has received formal notification that Business
Venture Investments No 1952 Proprietary Limited (“BVI”) has acquired a beneficial interest in the
securities of the Company (“Acquisition”). Following the Acquisition, BVI’s shareholding is 20.3% of
the total issued ordinary share capital of the Company.
