The Company was notified on 16 May 2016 that on 13 May 2016 Mr Savio Kwan, a Non-
Executive Director of the Company, acquired 76 ordinary shares of 25p each in British
American Tobacco p.l.c. (the “Shares”) at a price of 4,221.7801 pence per Share as a result
of the reinvestment of his dividend income.
Following this transaction, Mr Kwan has a total beneficial and family interest in 3,116
Shares.
