UPDATED VOLUNTARY TRADING STATEMENT
Shareholders are referred to the voluntary trading statement released by the Company on SENS on 3
March 2016 and are advised that headline earnings per share (“HEPS”) and earnings per share (“EPS”)
for the financial year ended 29 February 2016 are now anticipated to be in excess of the ranges
previously reported. The updated ranges are outlined in the table below:

Notes:
1. The percentage growth in HEPS is greater than the percentage growth in EPS due to the effect of
the reversal of a profit on the disposal of investment property in the prior year.
The financial results on which this trading announcement is based have not been reviewed or reported
on by Balwin`s external auditors.
Balwin`s results for the 12 months ended 29 February 2016 are scheduled to be published on Monday,
23 May 2016.
