MOODY'S INVESTORS SERVICE REPOSITIONS THE NATIONAL SCALE RATINGS OF
MERCEDES-BENZ SOUTH AFRICA LIMITED
Noteholders are advised that Moody's Investors Service (“Moody’s”)
has, on 12 May 2016, repositioned the National Scale Rating (NSR) of
Mercedes-Benz, in conjunction with the recalibration of the South
African national rating scale and as part of the implementation of
Moody’s updated methodology.
The assigned ratings as a result of the repositioning are as follows:
NSR Senior Unsecured MTN Rating (Local Currency), Repositioned to
(P)Aaa.za from (P)Aa2.za
NSR Other Short Term Rating (Local Currency), Repositioned to (P)P-
1.za from (P)P-1.za
