ACT (ACT 71 OF 2008) AND PARAGRAPH 3.83(b) OF THE JSE
LIMITED LISTINGS REQUIREMENTS - ACQUISITION OF SECURITIES
Shareholders are advised that the Company has received
formal notification in the prescribed form that the clients
of The Capital Group Companies Inc (“Capital Group
Companies clients”) have, in aggregate, acquired an
interest in the ordinary share capital of Capitec, such
that the total interest in the ordinary share capital of
the Company held by Capital Group Companies clients now
amounts to 5.0024% of the total issued ordinary share
capital of Capitec.
The Company has notified the Takeover Regulation Panel of
the above in accordance with its obligations under section
122 of the Companies Act.
