New Credit Rating Agency & Supplement To The Programme
On 20 May 2014, BTC registered a Programme Memorandum (the “Programme
Memorandum”) in respect of its ZAR 10,000,000,000 Asset Backed Multi-Seller
Note Programme (“the Programme”). The first supplement to the Programme
Memorandum was issued on 11 June 2015 (“the First Supplement”).
Noteholders are advised that following an announcement by the Registrar of
Credit Rating Agencies dated 4 September 2015 advising of the decision to
deregister Fitch Southern Africa Proprietary Limited (“Fitch”), BTC has
appointed Global Credit Rating Co. Proprietary Limited (“GCR”) as their
replacement credit rating agency under the Programme.
On 29 April 2016, GCR has accorded a short term credit rating of
‘A1+(ZA)(sf)’ to the Notes issued and to be issued under the Programme.

A second further supplement to the Programme Memorandum dated 26 May 2016
(the “Second Supplement”) has been issued for the purpose of appointing GCR
as the replacement credit rating agency.
The Second Supplement is supplemental to, and should be read in conjunction
with the Programme Memorandum and the First Supplement.
