Cautionary announcement
As advised on SENS on 1 June 2016, the board of directors of MRI (“the Board”) is in the process of
finalising the audit of the Company for the financial year ended 29 February 2016.
Shareholders are hereby advised that, as at 29 February 2016, MRI had a loan owing to Stellar
Capital Partners Limited (“SCP”), MRI’s largest single shareholder, in the amount of approximately
R12 million and, should SCP seek to recover this loan and fail to provide ongoing financial support to
MRI, it is unlikely that MRI will continue as a going concern into the foreseeable future.
The Board is in the process of exploring a number of opportunities with SCP to re-establish the
Company as a going concern in either its current or another form, but, as there is no certainty in this
regard, shareholders are hereby advised to exercise caution when dealing in the Company’s shares
until a further announcement is made.
