NOTICE OF AN ACQUISITION OF A BENEFICIAL INTEREST IN SOVEREIGN SECURITIES
In accordance with section 122(3)(b) of the Companies Act, No 71 of 2008, as amended
(“Companies Act”) and paragraph 3.83(b) of the JSE Limited Listings Requirements, Sovereign
shareholders are advised that the Company has received a notification from Country Bird Holdings
Proprietary Limited (“Country Bird”) and its concert parties in terms of section 122 of the Companies
Act (“Notice”) stating that Country Bird and its concert parties have acquired a beneficial interest in its
securities (the “Acquisition”).
As per the Notice, following the Acquisition, Country Bird and its concert parties now hold a beneficial
interest in 34.1% of the total issued ordinary shares in the Company.
