CHANGES TO THE BOARD
Shareholders are advised that Ronnie Hill, Newpark’s financial director has tendered his resignation with effect from
[31 August 2016] and that Dries Ferreira has been appointed as financial director with effect from [1 September 2016].
In 2004, Dries Ferreira CA(SA), completed his articles at PriceWaterhouseCoopers Inc. and completed the Harvard
Business School Programme for Leadership Development in 2008. Dries gained experience as a financial manager at
Pastop Proprietary Limited (part of the Astrapak Limited group) and at Distribution and Warehousing Network
Limited (“DAWN”) prior to being appointed as the Chief Financial Officer of DAWN in 2007, a position he
maintained until 14 July 2016.
The board of directors thanks Ronnie for his valuable contribution to the company both during and after the listing of
Newpark and welcomes Dries as the new financial director.
