APPOINTMENT OF EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
In compliance with paragraph 3.59(a) of the JSE Listings
Requirements, shareholders are advised that Ms Tasneem
Karriem has been appointed as an executive director on
the board of GPI with effect from 9 September 2016.
Ms Karriem is a qualified chartered accountant and a
member of the South African Institute of Chartered
Accountants. She also has extensive corporate finance
experience gained during her tenure with one of the big
four accounting firms, as well as another listed company.
She was appointed in July 2015 to head up GPI’s corporate
finance division.
The Board of directors extends congratulations to Ms
Karriem on her appointment and look forward to her
continued contribution to GPI and the Group.
