CHANGE IN IMPORTANT FUNCTION OF THE BOARD
In compliance with paragraph 3.59 of the Listings Requirements of the JSE Limited, the board of
directors of Texton (the “Board”) hereby advises that Nosiphiwo Balfour, an independent non-executive
director, has been elected as the interim Chairman of the Remuneration and Nomination Committee,
with effect from 13 September 2016, pursuant to the resignation of Ms Portia Tau-Sekati from the Board
on 25 August 2016.
Shareholders are further advised that the Board will appoint a permanent Chairman of the
Remuneration and Nomination Committee in due course.
