The following notification is made in accordance with the UK Financial Conduct Authority's
Disclosure and Transparency Rule 5.6.1. On 30 September 2016 the issued share capital of
the Company with voting rights is 1,344,771,902 ordinary shares of 50 pence each. The
Company does not hold any shares in treasury.
The above figure of the total voting rights may be used by shareholders as the denominator
for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest, or a
change to their interest, in the Company under the FCA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
